WinZip 10.0 Beta released

Winzip, one of the most popular archiving software has released the beta of the latest version Winzip 10. From now, it is available in two versions: Standard and Professional.

The release claims to have major usability enhancements, improved compression ratio, splitting of files, Explorer like view, Automatic Update Checking and some extra features in the Professional Edition exclusively like: Winzip Job Wizard and Zip to CD.

But there is no mention about possible improvement in handling of the other archiving formats.
